Medical Imaging Associates is pleased to introduce a select group of radiologists who offer an array of expertise in Neuroradiology, Body Imaging, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, General Radiology, Cardiac Imaging, & Breast Imaging. Their education & practical backgrounds come together from across the country. The physicians that make up Medical Imaging Associates attended distinguished schools and were instructed in rigorous programs graduating top of their classes. Medical Imaging Associates has provided a wealth of knowledge & resources to the medical community for over fifty years & counting.
Dr. Bachman
Dr. L. Christopher Bachman attended Weber State University when he received his Bachelor of Science degree and then went on to graduate with his medical doctorate from the University of Utah. He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in abdominal imaging at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. He has served the Pocatello, ID area since 2000. Dr. Bachman joined Medical Imaging Associates in 2015.
Dr. Bailey
Dr. Jared H. Bailey joined Medical Imaging Associates in July 2015 specializing in interventional radiology. He received his medical doctorate from Ohio State University graduating cum laude. Dr. Bailey completed a radiology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine and furthered his studies with an interventional radiology fellowship at University of Michigan
Dr. Behrmann
Dr. David Behrmann was born in Germany and grew up in Colorado and Oklahoma. He completed his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University graduating Magna Cum Laude. He attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma and completed a Radiology residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Subsequently, Dr. Behrmann completed an Interventional Radiology fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Behrmann joined Medical Imaging Associates in July 2014 specializing in Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Bentley
Dr. Richard Bentley was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. He attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University. Dr. Bentley completed a two year OB/GYN residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. In July 2003, he changed his focus to radiology and went on to finish a four-year residency at the David Grant Medical Center in California. Dr. Bentley has completed a teaching appointment and fellowship at University of Utah. Dr. Bentley joined Medical Imaging Associates in 2013 and specializes in Body Imaging.
Dr. Bigler
Dr. Dirk E. Bigler attended BYU and received his undergraduate degree from University of Utah. He studied medicine at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri and completed an internship and residency at the Sacred Heart Medical Center in Washington. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Digital Imaging in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Bigler joined Medical Imaging Associates in 2011.
Dr. Biddulph
Dr. Michael C. Biddulph completed a BS in Zoology at Brigham Young University, where he graduated as valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude. He continued on to complete medical school at the University of Utah. Following graduation, Dr Biddulph completed a residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Diagnostic Radiology and a teaching appointment at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ as a Senior Associate Consultant in Radiology. He has practiced with Medical Imaging Associates since 2000 and specializes in General Radiology and Breast Imaging.
Dr. Cameron
Dr. David M. Cameron grew up in rural southern NV. He completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology at the Brigham Young University and received his medical doctorate at the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine in Reno, NV. He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. He has served in the Pocatello, ID and surrounding medical community since 2000. Dr. Cameron joined Medical Imaging Associates in 2015.
Dr. Edlin
Dr. James P. Edlin completed a Bachelors of Science at Manakato State University. He received his doctorate from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. Dr. Edlin then went on to complete a residency at the University of Iowa in Nuclear Medicine and a residency at the Bridgeport Hospital of Bridgeport, CT in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Edlin also completed a fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at the Yale University Hospital in New Haven, CT. Dr. Edlin has dual board certifications in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Edlin has practiced with Medical Imaging Associates since 2002 and specializes in Nuclear Medicine, General Radiology, and Breast Imaging.
Dr. Enslow
Dr. Michael S. Enslow completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Utah. He received his doctorate from the University of Utah. Dr. Enslow then went on to complete a residency in Diagnostic Radiology and his fellowship in Abdominal Imaging & Breast Imaging at Duke University Medical Center. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Enslow joined Medical Imaging Associates in 2018.
Dr. Harker
Dr. Christopher O. Harker joins Medical Imaging Associates in July 2011 specializing in Neuroradiology. He received his bachelor’s degree at University of Utah in Human Development and Family Studies. Dr. Harker earned his medical doctorate from the University of Virginia and completed his residency at University of Utah in Radiology. Recently, Dr. Harker completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology.
Dr. Harris
Dr. James B. Harris graduated with highest honors from Ricks College and as an elected member to the Phi Kappa Phi honor society from Brigham Young University. He finished his first fellowship at Duke University and continued on to receive his Medical Doctorate from University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Harris completed an internship at LDS Hospital then returned to the University of Washington to complete a residency and second fellowship. Upon completion, he was appointed as a Clinical Assistant Instructor of Radiology and Acting Instructor of Radiology at the University of Washington. Dr. Harris joined Medical Imaging Associates in July 1997 practicing General Radiology and Body Imaging.
Dr. Jodko
Dr. Artur S. Narkiewicz-Jodko completed a Bachelor of Science at Oregon State University. He received his doctorate from the Oregon Health and Science University. Dr. Jodko then went on to complete his residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Diagnostic Radiology, and his fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Jodko joined Medical Imaging Associates in 2018.
Dr. Lamb
Dr. Justin A. Lamb attended BYU and graduated with his medical doctorate from Des Moines University in Iowa. He completed an internship at the University North Texas in Fort Worth, a residency in diagnostic radiology at John Peter Smith Health Network, and a fellowship in neuroradiology at the University of Texas in Dallas. He has served the Rexburg and surrounding medical community since 2007. Dr. Lamb joined Medical Imaging Associates in 2011.
Dr. Larsen
Dr. Steven A. Larsen received his undergraduate degree from Utah State University. He studied medicine at the University of Utah and completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. He went on to complete a fellowship at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR. Dr. Larsen has served the Pocatello, ID medical community since 2007. He joined Medical Imaging Associates in 2015.
Dr. Parker
Dr. Scott J. Parker completed a Bachelor of Science at Brigham Young University. He received his doctorate from the Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Parker then went on to complete a residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Diagnostic Radiology and his fellowship in Women’s Imaging & Breast Imaging at the University of Utah and Huntsman Cancer Institute. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Parker joined Medical Imaging Associates in 2018.
Dr. Pierson
Dr. Nicholas S.Pierson joined Medical Imaging Associates in July 2015 specializing in neuroradiology. He received his medical doctorate from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. Dr. Pierson completed a radiology residency at University of Utah and furthered his studies with an Neuroradiology fellowship at University of Utah. He was awarded a teaching appointment as Visiting Instructor in Radiology at the University of Utah.
Dr. Preece
Dr. Stephen R. Preece grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. He received his Bachelor’s degree from University of Utah and Medical Doctorate from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his Radiology residency at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, during which he was appointed Chief Resident. He furthered his training at Duke, completing a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. While at Duke, Dr. Preece received multiple teaching awards from the School of Medicine for his involvement as a Gross Anatomy teaching faculty member. Dr. Preece joined Medical Imaging Associates in July 2014 specializing in Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Schmutz
Dr. J. Fritz Schmutz completed his BS in Biology from the University of Utah and later received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Utah Medical School. After medical school he completed a rotational internship at the Swedish Hospital Medical Center in Seattle, WA. He then went on to complete a residency in Radiology and a fellowship in Neuroradiology from the prestigious University of Washington. He is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology and also serves as Clinical Faculty for University of Washington and Des Moines University. Dr. Schmutz has practiced with Medical Imaging Associates since 1997 and specializes in Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Smith
Dr. Steven D. Smith completed a BS in Microbiology at Brigham Young University. He earned his Medical Doctorate from the Uniformed Services University Medical School in Bethesda, MD. He also completed an internship at the Oakland Naval Hospital and residency at the San Diego Naval Hospital. Achieving the rank of Commander in the United States Navy, he served honorably for 17 years before leaving for private practice. Dr. Smith has practiced with Medical Imaging Associates since 2001 and specializes in General Radiology and Breast Imaging.
Dr. Stephens
Dr. George H. Stephens was born and raised in Pocatello, ID. He attended Brigham Young University where he received his undergraduate degree. He received his medical doctorate from the University of Washington, in Seattle, WA. He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in neuroradiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in Texas. He is Board certified in Radiology and a member of the American Society of Neuroradiology. Dr. Stephens has served the Pocatello and surrounding medical community since 1989. He joined Medical Imaging Associates in 2015.
Dr. Strobel
Dr. John J. Strobel grew up in Rexburg, Idaho. He received his Associates Degree at Ricks College and graduated with his Bachelors of Science and Medical Doctorate from Creighton University. While attending Creighton, he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. After completing his education, Dr. Strobel did residencies in Internal Medicine at Creighton University and Diagnostic Radiology at University of Nebraska. As a strong leader, Dr. Strobel served as Chief Resident during his residency at University of Nebraska. He has been affiliated with Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Dr. Strobel joined Medical Imaging Associates in January 1997 specializing in Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Talbot
Dr. Brett S. Talbot completed his undergraduate work at Idaho State University where he had the Presidential Scholarship and graduated with high honors. He then went on to attend the University of Rochester where he also completed his residency in diagnostic radiology and a musculoskeletal fellowship. Dr. Talbot joined Medical Imaging Associates in 2017 specializing in Musculoskeletal Radiology.
Dr. Taylor
Dr. James W. Taylor completed degrees at Ricks College and Utah State University in Biology, he received his Doctorate from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed an internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Sacred Heart Medical Center of Spokane, WA. Taylor then went on to complete a fellowship in Neuroradiology with Inland Imaging Associates of Spokane, WA. Medical Imaging Associates welcomed Dr. Taylor to the group in 2006. Dr Taylor specializes in Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Vance
Dr. Peter L. Vance graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University and received his Medical Doctorate from Wake Forest University Bowman Grey School of Medicine. Dr. Vance completed an internship at York Hospital in York, PA and a residency in Charlottesville, VA at the University of Virginia Hospitals. He went on to complete a fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in Madison training in Musculoskeletal Radiology. Dr. Vance joined Medical Imaging Associates in July 2002 specializing in Musculoskeletal Radiology.
Dr. Veigel
Dr. Myka C. Veigel grew up in Star Valley, Wyoming. He attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences graduating with high honors. Subsequently, he completed a five year diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Missouri – Kansas City where he was awarded the most outstanding graduating resident by the faculty and peers. Dr. Veigel recently completed a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at the University of Iowa. Dr. Veigel joined Medical Imaging Associates in July 2014 specializing in musculoskeletal and general diagnostic radiology.
Dr. Warden
Dr. David R. Warden III completed his BS in Computer Science at Brigham Young University. He then went on to complete his Medical Doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) School of Medicine. Dr. Warden then completed an internship at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and later completed his residency at the Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Radiology where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Warden achieved the rank of Major with the United States Army and served honorably during Desert Storm and Desert Shield with the 82nd Airborne Division. Dr. Warden has practiced with Medical Imaging Associates since 2001 and specializes in General Radiology and Breast Imaging as well as being a Certified Clinical Densitometrist.
Dr. Williamson
Dr. Matthew E. Williamson was born in Port Arthur, TX. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. He received his doctorate from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed an internship at Grandview and Southview Hospital in Dayton, OH and a residency in diagnostic radiology at the Doctors Hospital – Ohio University in Columbus, OH. He then went on to complete a fellowship specializing in Musculoskeletal MRI at the HealthSouth Medical Center/Baptist Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Williamson has served in the Pocatello, ID area since 2005. He joined Medical Imaging Associates in 2015.
Dr. Willmore
Dr. Roderick J. Willmore completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Utah State University. He attended medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and then completed an internship at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Virginia. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency and an abdominal imaging fellowship both at the University of Utah. Dr. Willmore joined Medical Imaging Associates in 2017 specializing in Abdominal Imaging.
